School Volunteer and Clearance Information
 
Under Pennsylvania’s Child Protective Services Law, school volunteers are required to
have current clearances including SP4-164A (State Police Background Check for
Volunteers), CY113 (Child Abuse History Clearance), and FBI Fingerprinting.

*You must register online or by phone before reporting to a fingerprinting center to
obtain the FBI clearance.
 
Once you receive the clearances in the mail, please bring the original clearances to
Dunbar Twp Elementary. Copies will be made and kept on file at the school.
Federal Programs will reimburse parents/guardians of children who attend Title I
schools only, in cases of hardship. If a parent/guardian would like to be reimbursed, the
parent/guardian will need to bring the original clearance(s) and proof of payment(s) to
the Office of the Assistant Superintendent, 732 Rockridge Road Connellsville, PA
15425.
