Welcome to Dunbar Township Elementary School!  Dunbar Township Elementary is located in the Connellsville Area School District and provides services for students in grades kindergarten through fifth grade.  Currently, Dunbar Township has an enrollment of approximately 630 students.

The staff at Dunbar Township Elementary are hardworking and caring individuals whose goal is to meet the social, emotional and academic needs of all students.  In addition to core academics, students will receive instruction in art, music, computers, health, physical education, and library/media education.  Students in the intermediate grades are encouraged to participate in the instrumental music program.  Chorus is offered to children in grades 4 & 5 as well.  

I am confident that the staff will provide the support needed to help each Dunbar Township Elementary student succeed by focusing on helping students develop the values needed to respect themselves, others, their learning and their environment.  There are many supports in place at Dunbar Township Elementary across all academic areas which focus on building relationships and high expectations.
